The Spilled Juice

Ryan was carrying his lunch tray to the table.

He walked carefully, trying not to drop anything.

As he sat down, his elbow hit his cup, and the juice spilled across the table.

“Oh no,” he said, quickly standing up.

The juice began to drip onto the floor.

Ryan felt embarrassed as other students looked over.

For a moment, he didn’t know what to do.

Then he grabbed some napkins and started wiping the table.

A classmate handed him more napkins, and together they cleaned the mess.

When the teacher came over, she said, “Thank you for taking care of it.”

Ryan nodded and sat back down.

Next time, he decided to move more carefully and keep his cup farther from the edge.
