Shopping for Groceries
My mom and I went shopping for groceries. We needed fruits, vegetables, and some snacks. We went to the produce section. I picked five apples and seven bananas, while my mom chose fresh lettuce and eight red tomatoes. Then we walked to the snack aisle. My mom asked me to pick snacks for the week. I chose a bag of chips for Monday, candy for Tuesday, cookies for Wednesday, raisins for Thursday, and nuts for Friday. After that, we went to the dairy section. Mom picked the milk, and I picked the eggs. I was very careful. We were hungry and tired. We went to the checkout counter, and Mom paid for everything. Mom drove us home, and I helped put the groceries away. She made me some lunch. It was fun going shopping with my mom!
