Helping Mom Out in the Kitchen
Yanna’s mom was making dinner, and Yanna loved watching her cook. She wanted to help, so she asked her mom if she could. Her mom smiled and said she could help. Yanna was asked to put plates on the table. She was excited and carefully placed forks and cups, making sure there was one for each family member. Yanna felt proud to be helping. When dinner was ready, everyone came to the table and thanked Yanna for setting it. She was happy to make her family smile and proud to help her mom in the kitchen.
