We All Need Help Sometimes

You’re usually the type of person who likes to handle things on your own. When problems come up, you try to figure them out quietly without asking for help. But today has been different. First, you forgot your homework at home. Then, you realized you didn’t understand part of the assignment as well as you thought you did. On top of that, your laptop battery died, and you didn’t bring your charger. You sit at your desk, feeling stuck and frustrated, wishing you could fix it all by yourself. You look around and notice a classmate working on the same assignment with no trouble. You hesitate, because asking for help makes you feel like you’re showing weakness. Still, you know if you don’t speak up, you’ll fall even further behind. Taking a deep breath, you decide to pull out your phone and text someone you trust to admit that, sometimes, even you need help.
