A Message Sent Too Late

A finalized document was prepared for use in a scheduled presentation involving multiple stakeholders. The material had already been reviewed and approved through standard processes. Shortly after the final version was shared, a discrepancy was identified by one of the contributors.

The issue was minor but visible. After reviewing it, the contributor chose not to raise it immediately, as the presentation was scheduled for the following day. No additional communication was sent at that time.

During the presentation, the discrepancy became noticeable, requiring clarification during the discussion. The presentation continued, though parts of the explanation were adjusted in real time.

Following the session, a corrected version of the document was distributed. The update was acknowledged, and the discussion moved forward without extended reference to the earlier version.

The sequence of events was not formally revisited, and no additional comments were recorded regarding the timing of the correction.
