When Traffic Builds Up Beyond Control
Traffic flow across several key routes has started to build up beyond normal levels, affecting delivery times and daily operations. Early delays were treated as temporary, with drivers adjusting routes to work around congestion. For a short time, these changes helped keep things on track.
As conditions worsened, those adjustments began to lose effectiveness. Alternate routes became just as congested, and timing became harder to predict. Some operators tried to catch up by increasing speed in open areas, while others delayed departures to avoid peak periods. These efforts led to mixed results.
With delays continuing to add up, coordination across schedules became more difficult. Some deliveries arrived out of sequence, while others were pushed back entirely. The system remained active, but maintaining consistent flow became increasingly challenging.
