Lucy is a little duck. Lucy has a small flowerpot. She wants to grow a plant. She puts some soil in the pot. She makes a little hole. Then she takes one small seed. She puts it in the hole. Lucy covers the seed with soil. She gets her watering can. She gives the soil some water. Lucy puts the pot by the window. The sun shines on the pot. Lucy looks at it every morning. She waits and waits. One morning, Lucy sees something green. A little leaf is coming up! Lucy smiles at her plant. She gives it a little water. The plant grows taller each day. Lucy is happy with her little plant.
