LUCY PLAYS OUTSIDE

READ THE PARAGRAPH

Lucy is a little duck. Max is a little puppy. They want to play outside. Max brings his red ball. He brings a blue wagon, too. Lucy brings a yellow kite. They meet in the yard. Max rolls the ball to Lucy. Lucy rolls it back to Max. Then Lucy runs across the grass. Her kite goes up in the air. The wind blows the kite over the wagon. Oh, no! The string gets caught. Max holds the wagon still. Lucy pulls gently on the string. Max helps Lucy free the string. Now the kite can fly again. The friends laugh and play. They put their toys away. Then they go home.
