Sofia brought her favorite water bottle to school.
She used it during class and took it outside during recess.
After recess, she went back inside, but later she couldn’t find it anywhere.
She checked her desk, her backpack, and under her chair.
“I just had it,” she said, starting to feel upset.
Her friend asked, “Where did you last use it?”
Sofia stopped and thought. “At the bench,” she said.
They walked back outside together.
Sofia looked around and finally saw her bottle under the bench.
She picked it up and smiled.
“I forgot to put it back in my bag,” she said.
The next time she went outside, she made sure to bring it back right away.
