Nina Forgot Her List

Nina went to the store after class.
She had money in her bag.
She had her phone, too.
But she forgot her list at home.
The list was on the kitchen table.

At the store, Nina saw bread.
She saw apples.
She saw rice.
She saw milk.
She tried to remember the list.

Nina took bread first.
Then she took apples.
She found rice on a lower shelf.
She put the rice in her basket.
She did not take milk.

Nina went home with three things.
She bought bread, apples, and rice.
Then she saw the list on the table.
Milk was on the list, but milk was not in the bag.
Nina smiled because she would use the list next time.
