The Borrowed Camera

Owen borrowed his friend Priya's camera for a photography class. Priya showed him how to use the case and asked him to return everything by Thursday evening. She needed the camera for a project on Friday morning. Owen agreed and wrote the return time in his calendar.
On Wednesday, Owen's instructor announced an optional practice session for Friday afternoon. Students could photograph moving subjects with help from a professional photographer. Owen wanted to attend, but the equipment available through the class had already been reserved. He sent Priya a message asking to keep her camera one more day.
Priya replied that her project was still scheduled. Owen suggested that she use her phone, explaining that his practice session could help him complete an important assignment. Priya had spent several weeks arranging her project and wanted to use the camera settings she had practiced.
Owen then asked whether Priya could finish early enough for him to collect the camera before his session. She did not know how long her work would take. The camera was still at Owen's apartment, along with some images he had not downloaded. On Thursday afternoon, Priya received another message asking when she expected to be finished on Friday.
