Going to the Library

Kimi went to the library with her dad. The library was quiet and peaceful. Kimi liked the smell of the books and looked at the rows of shelves filled with them. Her dad helped her find a book about animals. Kimi sat at a table and started reading about lions, elephants, and giraffes. She loved the pictures in the book. Her dad sat beside her and read his own book. After reading, Kimi chose two books to borrow. Her dad showed her how to use her library card. Kimi checked out her books and thanked the librarian. She was excited to read her new books at home.
