When a Plan Starts to Come Apart
A plan that had been carefully structured began to come apart as conditions changed during execution. Early stages followed the expected path, and coordination between teams remained steady. Progress was consistent, and expectations were largely met.
As new challenges began to show up, parts of the plan no longer fit the situation as well as they had at the start. Teams made adjustments to keep things moving, but those changes were not always aligned across different areas. Some continued to follow the original plan closely, while others began to move away from it.
Over time, the plan remained in place, but its application became less consistent. Some parts continued as expected, while others shifted in response to ongoing changes, creating differences in how the work was carried out.
