The Timeline
The timeline was set at the beginning of the project, and the team agreed on how to carry it out. Each step was planned carefully, and early progress showed that everything was moving along as expected. There were no immediate concerns, and the team felt confident about meeting the deadline.
As the work continued, however, a few tasks began to fall behind. Some steps took longer than planned, and others depended on work that had not yet been completed. Instead of calling out the delay, the team tried to work around it by adjusting their schedule. At first, this seemed manageable, but the delays began to add up over time.
Eventually, the team had to step back and review the timeline. By identifying where things had gone off track, they were able to make better adjustments. The experience showed that even small delays should be addressed early to avoid larger problems later.
