The Confusing Instructions
Liam stared at the paper and frowned. “I don’t understand this,” he said. He looked up at Nora, who was typing at her desk. “What part?” she asked without looking away from her screen. Liam shook his head. “All of it. It doesn’t make sense.” Nora turned her chair and reached for the paper.
She read it slowly. “Yeah… this is not very clear,” she said. Liam leaned closer. “So what are we supposed to do?” Nora pointed at one section. “This part sounds important, but it doesn’t explain how to do it.” Liam sighed. “If we guess, we might get it wrong.”
Nora sat back. “We could ask for clarification,” she said. Liam hesitated. “What if they expect us to figure it out?” Nora looked at him. “Or what if they expect us to ask?” Liam looked down at the paper again but didn’t move.
