Running Late

When I woke up this morning, I realized that I had turned off my alarm without noticing, which immediately made me feel stressed.

Because of that, I was already running late and had to get ready much faster than usual.

I quickly got dressed and decided to skip breakfast so I could leave the house sooner.

While I was on my way, I kept checking the time and hoping that traffic wouldn’t slow me down.

When I finally arrived at work, my manager was already there, but she didn’t say anything.

Even though I felt nervous at first, I apologized and went straight to my desk.

This experience reminded me how important it is to stay aware in the morning.
