Scenario 14
The Restaurant Review
READ
Victor and Alina tried a new lunch place near their office. Alina's meal arrived as ordered, but Victor received the wrong sandwich. The server apologized and took it back. By the time the replacement arrived, Alina had nearly finished eating and their lunch break was almost over.
Victor was disappointed and began writing a review on his phone. He described the service as terrible and said people should avoid the restaurant. Alina thought the wording was too strong because the server had been polite and the food itself was good. She suggested mentioning the mistake without judging the whole restaurant.
Victor said a review should reflect his actual experience. He was paying for a meal he could barely finish and would need to hurry back to work. Alina replied that a busy first visit might not show how the restaurant usually operated. Neither knew whether there had been a problem in the kitchen.
The server returned with their bill and asked whether everything was all right. Victor's unfinished review was still open, including a sentence saying that the staff did not care about customers. Alina looked at the bill and noticed that both meals were charged at the regular price. Their break ended in eight minutes.
