The Missing File

Sonia stared at her screen and frowned. “I can’t find the file,” she said, clicking through folders again. Chris turned his chair toward her. “Which file?” he asked. “The report from yesterday,” Sonia replied. “I saved it before I left.” Chris stood up and walked over, watching her search.

“Did you check the shared folder?” he asked. Sonia nodded. “Yes, it’s not there.” Chris leaned closer. “Maybe it didn’t upload.” Sonia sighed and rubbed her forehead. “I spent hours on that report.” Chris clicked through a few more folders. “Let’s not panic yet,” he said.

Sonia kept searching. “It has to be somewhere.” Chris paused. “Did you rename it?” Sonia shook her head. Then she stopped suddenly. “Wait…” She clicked on another folder. “This looks familiar.” Chris leaned in. “Is that it?” Sonia didn’t answer right away.
